where’s the country heading
4 04 2008There was recently a poll saying that 81% of Americans think that the country is heading in the wrong direction. The main reason they say this is because of the recession it looks like we heading towards. I think another reason may be the cost of oil and gasoline is so high. do you agree that the country is headed in the wrong direction? Why or why not?
I agree that the country is headed in the wrong direction. Prices continue to rise and there seems to be a lack of jobs, especially good-paying jobs. Some countries are ahead of ours in terms of education and can compete for our high paying jobs, while other less-fortunate countries absorb our low paying jobs. I don’t know what the exact solution should be, but our politicians need to worry about helping citizens of this country before they send our money over-seas to help foreign nations.
